Yes We Art

Discover art as a way to understand yourself and grow

In my sessions and workshops, I guide children, teens, and adults to use art as a powerful way for self-expression and personal development.

My approach

YES WE ART is inspired by the combination of:

  • Art therapy
  • Movement and body awareness
  • Contemporary art
  • Creative use of artistic materials and techniques (from painting, drawing, clay, collage, and land art) in dialogue with digital tools and contemporary processes that expand the creative process.

It’s a holistic, human, and creative approach.

Why I created YES WE ART?

I developed YES WE ART through my experience as an artist and creative consultant.

Over the years, I discovered that creating art is not only about making something beautiful, it is a powerful tool for self-expression, wellbeing, and mental health.

The more I developed my artistic practice, the more I experienced how art opens a unique and powerful dialogue within ourselves, one that goes beyond words.

This realization led me to deepen my training and study a Master’s in Art Therapy, so I could accompany others in this process with care and professionalism.

Today, offering these sessions feels deeply meaningful to me. Creating spaces where people can explore, express, and reconnect with themselves it's something that gives a strong sense of purpose to my life.

What is Art Therapy?

Art therapy is a way of using drawing, painting, movement, and creative play to express feelings, thoughts, and experiences that are sometimes hard to put into words.

For children, this comes very naturally—art is their language.

For adults, it’s often a rediscovery.

Through colors, shapes, textures, and movement, we can:

  • Express emotions safely
  • Understand ourselves better
  • Find new ways to respond to challenges
  • Feel calmer, clearer, and more connected

What happens in a session

Each session is a safe and welcoming space where you (or your child) can explore freely.

I gently guide the process through creative proposals such as:

  • Drawing, painting, and working with materials
  • Simple movement and body awareness
  • Playful exercises and creative “games”
  • Moments of reflection to give meaning to what appears

Step by step, we begin to:

  • Untangle what feels stuck (fears, frustrations, confusion)
  • Recognize strengths and talents
  • Build confidence and new ways of responding to life

Is it suitable for children?

Yes sessions are open to children from 4 years old.

I work closely with each child and family, respecting their rhythm and their story.

Every family already has valuable resources—my role is to help bring them forward.Art therapy can support children to:

  • Express emotions they don’t yet have words for
  • Gain confidence and self-esteem
  • Navigate changes, fears, or difficult moments
  • Feel seen, heard, and understood

How can this help my child?

Every child is unique, and so is every process.

When we support a child, we often bring more balance and wellbeing to the whole family. Children naturally reflect what is happening around them, and they can also be powerful guides for positive change.

Is it suitable for adults?

Sometimes we feel lost, overwhelmed, or stuck.

Thinking more doesn’t always help—in fact, it can make things feel more tangled.

Through art, we connect with a deeper part of ourselves—the part that already knows the way forward.

You can:

  • Explore your inner world
  • Understand patterns that hold you back
  • Reconnect with your creativity and intuition
  • Begin to shape the life you want to live

When and Where?

I dedicate Thursdays and Fridays to offering YES WE ART sessions.

I do one-to-one sessions at my studio in Sant Pere de Ribes and online via zoom.

In which languages are the sessions available?

I am Mexican-French and have worked in English for many years, which allows me to comfortably offer sessions in Spanish, English, and French.

You are welcome to choose the language you feel most at ease with.

What are my professional collaborations?

I am fortunate to collaborate with a wide network of trusted psychologists, therapists, and coaches. In addition, I work as an art teacher at The Olive Tree School, which keeps me closely connected with children, families, and fellow educators.

These professional connections allow me to offer comprehensive support and ensure that, if a situation goes beyond my scope, you are guided to the right expert.

I also engage in ongoing supervision with another experienced therapist, which helps me reflect, grow, and provide the highest quality care possible.

Beatriz puts great intention into the experiences she creates. She is ambitious and intelligent. The experiences she designs for both children and adults (I speak from personal experience) reflect her complexity and her desire to connect people with the world of art. Even those who, like me, think: "I'm not creative."

My 9-year-old daughter, Kainoa, went to the YES WE ART summer camp and she absolutely loved it! She explored different art forms, working both individually and in groups. Beatriz is an expert art guide; she provides ideas that the children can build upon and add their own unique perspective. I highly recommend YES WE ART. Kainoa will definitely be back! Thank you, Bea, for some amazing mornings!

When we moved to Sitges, we searched for an art therapist to help our young daughter with the transition from another country. From our first contact, Beatriz was empathetic and quick to respond. Our daughter loved her first session and said afterward that she really felt she could trust Beatriz.

The sessions quickly became one of our daughter's weekly highlights—she looked forward to seeing Beatriz and taking part in creative and fun art activities. I am 100% sure that Beatriz played a major role in how quickly our daughter was able to feel happy and grounded in a new country, school, and living situation.

Importantly, the processes that Beatriz used were creative and enjoyable, which our daughter (and we) truly appreciated. I have no hesitation in recommending Beatriz to other parents.

My son went to the Yes We Art camp with Beatriz for a whole week and he loved it. Beatriz taught the children new and fun art techniques every day. They experimented with different materials and techniques, both in the studio and outdoors. My son came home every day excited to share what he had learned and eager for the next day to arrive. This is the ideal camp for any child with artistic curiosity and a desire to create. We'll definitely be back!
