Tres - Original large painting

I made this painting during my pregnancy, I was inspired by the process of bringing life to the world, the transformation both physically and psychologically, and the complex interconnection between female and male.

The beauty of the new life that is about to start. I drew the first lines with pencil on the canvas, I had a clear vision of the composition I wanted, and once I had my preparatory drawing ready I started to paint and I could bring even more details, giving different textures, the painting was transformed as my body was also transforming. Very alive process. I finished the painting after my baby was born. I painted the last lines while carrying my sleeping newborn.
